Getting Here - By Road

The region is located (for the most part) south of the Trans Canada Highway.
Our major route is Highway #3, the Southern Route through the province.

On the east side we are only 2 to 3 hours driving distance from Calgary, Alberta.
On our west side we are 6 hours driving distance from Vancouver, BC.
From our Southern border we are only 3 hours driving distance from Spokane, Washington.

The Kootenay Columbia region is also serviced by numerous ferry routes as part of the highway transportation system.
